Get a sneak peak at the International Plowing Match Quilt Display this weekend in Teeswater.

A Quilt Committee, part of the Family Lifestyles Program presents "The Best of Home Quilt Show and Competition". Earlier this summer entries were collected for Quilts and quilted materials to be displayed and judged.

The two day show takes place Friday August 8th between 10am and 8pm and Saturday August 9th from 10am to 4pm at the Teeswater Community Centre. 140 Large, crib and miniature Quilts, Wall hangings, wearable art entries and quillows were entered. Prizes will be awarded Saturday morning at 11am. The winning entries will be on display the week of the International Plowing Match September 16th to 20th, 2008.

Admission is just 5 dollars to the Quilt Show in Teeswater and a lunch booth will be available courtesy of the IPM Cookbook Committee.

The Quilt show is also a great opportunity to pick up IPM Souvenirs and Raffle Tickets. Entries from the Quilt Block Challenge held last fall were made into four beautiful Quilts available to be won by raffle.
