It is with great delight that the International Plowing Match (IPM) 2008 committee received a cheque from Meridian Credit Union in the amount of $10,000. This generous cash donation will go towards supporting the training and other needs of the 1700 volunteers that will stage IPM 2008 to be held on the outskirts of Teeswater September 16 to 20, 2008.

Making the presentation on behalf of Meridian Credit Union was Mike Watt, Manager, Kincardine Branch and Erin Zorzi, Manager of the Port Elgin Branch. Receiving the $10,000 cheque on behalf of IPM 2008 was Jack Riley, Chairman; Gloria Bell, Treasurer and Liz Stobo, Secretary.
