It is with great delight that the International Plowing Match (IPM) 2008 committee received a cheque from Sprucedale Agromart Limited, Tara in the amount of $10,000.

This generous cash donation will go towards a County wide Beautification Contest. The competition features categories for commercial, rural and residential properties along with a new photo contest. Chairperson Jen Isber-Legge says the competition is an opportunity to "show your pride in your own little piece of Bruce County and help make our community beautiful as we welcome thousands of new visitors to our area."

Deadline to enter is May 31st and applications are available online or at the IPM office.

Making the presentation on behalf of Sprucedale Agromart Limited was Scott Reid and Frank Coulter. Jen Isber-Legge, Chairperson Rural Beautification; Jack Riley, Chairman; and Cheryl Russwurm, Co-Chair Partnership Committee from IPM 2008 were on hand to receive the cheque April 18.
