Chairperson Jennifer Isber Legge says "offering eight different categories anyone in the County of Bruce can enter. The IPM Beautification contest is a great way for people to showoff and promote their Urban, Rural and Business Properties. We live in a great part of Ontario with so much to be proud of! Our IPM theme is rural inviting everyone to 'Come Home to the Country' meanwhile visitors staying in area hotels or coming to Bruce County for a day at the match will also have a chance to visit the downtown areas and at the same time appreciate the buildings and landscapes of local storefronts and homes too!".

The eight categories include: Urban or Rural Home; Farmstead; Century Farm; Garden; Gateway or Sign; Bed and Breakfast; Agribusiness or Commercial Property and new this year, an outstanding photograph of sowing or harvesting in Bruce County.

Each participant receives 2 tickets to the Awards Banquet August 15th at the Chesley Arena, plus a framed photograph of their property and a pot of the "IPM Flower of the Match" Red Lillies for your garden with each 50 dollar registration.

Entry forms are available online at www.ipm2008.ca, by visiting the Tara, Hanover or Manitoulin Island branches of Sprucedale Agromart along with any Bruce County Municipal office.
