Ingredients
for a successful I.P.M.:
- Tens of thousands of visitors
- 1000 acres for Tented city, plowing, parking and
demonstrations
- 32 committees, a number of sub committees
- and A LOT of volunteers!
I.P.M. is putting out a "Call for Volunteers" to become part of
our team presenting a great five day family event September 16 to
20th, 2008.
The Plowing Match is going to be held just outside of Teeswater, but
helping hands from all areas of the region are needed to present
this event!
I.P.M. 2008 has taken the fear out of volunteering by letting you
know what help is needed and let you talk about what your role might
be before you sign up! Come meet with our committee members to talk
one on one in a "come and go" environment. Should you have an
interest in Antiques or Quilts, greeting people as they come in the
gates or if you would rather work behind the scenes we can match
your interests with a role within the I.P.M. Team.
Join us Saturday July 26th between 10am and 2pm at The Heritage
Farm, south of Paisley just off of Bruce County Road 3 or Wednesday
July 30th, 7 to 9pm at the Teeswater Community Centre.
Come when you can, talk with some of the I.P.M. committee members
and whether you can lend us a hand before the match, a few days or
hours during the match, or even after the match we’d love to work
with you! The I.P.M. also welcomes help from Community organizations
and office groups...what a great team building experience!
If you’re not able to come to the match as a volunteer, many
opportunities exist to promote business and individuals within the
Tented City Exhibitors area, the Artisan Tent in Family Lifestyles
and the Antique display.
Please give our I.P.M. Headquarters office in Teeswater a call for
more details: 1-877-IPM-2008 or drop by the main street location
open Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm.
